About KOINA

Fellowship through shared participation

KOINA is an open commons where every member has a place to belong. Shared spaces break down social barriers so authentic relationships can grow.

κοινά — The name comes from the Ancient Greek κοινά (koina) — the same root as koinonia, fellowship built through shared participation. KOINA is meant to work the same way: an open commons or identity where every member has a place to belong and social barriers are broken down to foster authentic relationships leading to Jesus.
